Up HIlton Head Island - Pinckney Island, November 26-30, 2007 Prev Next Slideshow

Part of the flock headed east and out of sight but about half the birds settled a few hundred yards away. I spoke to my mother who had called to wish Beth a happy birthday. I told her where I was and asked her to call Beth's cel, then started thinking about how I was going to get close to those birds again. I had to get back pretty soon so whatever the strategy, it could not involve a lot of walking and stalking.
