This detail of a bicycle frame by Brian Baylis is a great example of the beautiful handwork that is being seen less and less these days. TIG-welded aluminum, titanium and carbon fiber have taken over the bicycle market, making fine lugged steel bikes like this one as rare as mechanical movement wrist watches. |
