Up 08 12 Cranes Prev Next Slideshow

It was nice being this close to these birds but the backlight was not very flattering... it occurred to me that if I could get there early enough the following day I could probably follow the dirt road around the pasture to the west side... not only would the sun be in a more favorable place, but with any luck the cranes would fly directly over my head when they went home for the evening.
