| Eastern Hercules beetle, Dynastes tityus. Getting a good photo of this fellow was quite a juggling act, especially since he was constantly on the move and very strong... every time he managed to get his feet wrapped around a finger it took quite a bit of finesse to get him unattached (note the size of the two very large hooks on each foot). |
