The next twelve shirts are from two lots I bought on
eBay... you know the drill, shirts in a heap, poorly photographed and
inadequately described, do I gamble or not? Too bad these sellers don't
realize how much a lackluster listing can hurt a sale. The two lots netted
me sixteen shirts and the first one out of the first box was this silk Avanti. Jackpot, this shirt paid for both lots. While I'm not big on what I
call the Hawaiian "tourist pattern" shirts (you know, postcards, hotels,
ukeleles...), I must admit this one is growing on me. I don't know how old
it is but it must be fairly new, the red is still incredibly intense. Even
on the monitor it jumps out at you and it's even more vivid in person. |
