My friend Tom (who got me interested in Hawaiian shirts) claims this is one of the most hideous shirts he has ever seen.  I'll admit, it might be a bit more at home on the back of a hot rod mechanic from California than a Hawaiian surfer, but still it does have a certain 60's appeal.  I've even gotten a compliment or two when wearing it (but usually from folks who are wearing sunglasses, now that I think about it).
