Just after the previous shirt arrived and I discovered it was too small, another one showed up on eBay.  Same design, richer colors than the Hilo Hattie, this one was the same maker as the one in the Steele book (though I'm certain this one is still not as old).  Judging by the way the bid kept creeping up I suspected this one would soon end up beyond my reach, but I did manage to win it for a dollar less than my maximum bid.  When it arrived, I was elated... not only did it fit, but it looked much nicer than it did in the auction photos.  So now I've got a pair... I gave the smaller one to my daughter and she's delighted with it..
