Up HIlton Head Island - Pinckney Island, November 26-30, 2007 Prev Next Slideshow

Wednesday morning I got up early and went to Pinkney Island National Wildlife Refuge. It is on a small island that separates Hilton Head from the mainland. The tiny entrance between two bridges can be easy to miss, even with the signs. This shot was taken on the road that leads to the parking lot. Of the fourteen miles of roads on the Island, it is only on this few hundred yards that vehicles are permitted.
