As I walked back to my car with my tripod over my shoulder (and camera still attached, thankfully) I heard some honking to my right. I had just enough time to turn around and get the tripod set up as a flight of Canada geese went by, first to the south, then to the west right in front of the setting sun. I squeezed off a couple of shots as I was panning left-to-right, and spliced them together in Photoshop (what appear to be two flocks are actually the same group of birds taken a few seconds apart) |
